Assam Financial Corporation(AFC), incorporated under the State Financial Corporations Act of 1951, is playing a major role in the developmernt and industrialization of Assam. Established on 19th April,1954 AFC has Branch Offices in different district Head Quarters with its Head Office at Vittiya Bhavan, Md. Shah Road, Paltan Bazar, Guwahati,Assam.

All the Educational Qualifications (Graduation/Post Graduation etc.) shall be only from Institutions accredited by AICTE/recognized by UGC wherever applicable.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must be an Indian Citizen and must be permanent resident of Assam.
Age & Reservation
Age as stated above . The upper age and reservation as per Govt. norms. The upper age limit is relaxable only as stipulated below.
- 5 Yrs. for SC/ST candidates.
- 3 Years for OBC /MOBC candidates.
Knowledge of Languages
Speaking, writing and reading knowledge of English and Assamese is essential.
At any stage of recruitment process , for incomplete/incorrect/false submission of data / documents the candidature will stand cancelled.
Candidates working under Central / State Govt./Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous bodies etc. should apply through proper chanel and in the event of final selection the candidate has to submit NOC from the employer concerned.

The application fee is Rs.500/- ( inclusive of GST) for all the above category of posts.

Selection procedure
The selection will be done by the Selection Committee constituted for the same. The decision of the Selection Committee in any matter related to the recruitment at any stage will be final and applicable to all concerned.
Short listing of candidates will be done on the basis eligibility criteria fulfilled. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for a selection process for which no TA/DA shall be provided.
Written test may be held if the Corporation decides so in case of higher number of candidates or as deem fit by the Corporation.

As stated above and as per norms of the Corporation.
Place of work
The applicant should be willing to work at any of the Branch Offices or Head Office of the Corporation as directed by the Management of AFC
